University of South Florida
Speaker Description of The Discussion:
This talk will focus on the spies who worked for the Nazi and Fascist regimes during the Second World War. These individuals range from unknown spies infiltrating Resistance networks to high-ranking priests gathering intelligence within the Vatican. They played a significant role in maintaining totalitarian repression; however, their complex personal agendas could sometimes undermine the regimes they served.
