Speaker Description of The Discussion:
It’s 1985 and Ronald Armstrong, known in the magic mushroom trade as “Trip,” takes a “sober” job as a driver for a retired Tampa mobster. His boss, Charlie Wall, has survived four attempts on his life, the last one in 1955. When Charlie falls into depression, Trip rebuilds his boss’ self-esteem by convincing him people still want him dead. What neither of them know is that an aging hit man has decided to finish the job he botched 30 years earlier.The Everlasting Life of Charlie Wall is based on a real-life Tampa mobster and includes Charlie’s first-person account of his life of crime and the loss of the woman he loves.

By breaking down barriers we hope to give everyone access to the best speakers and to make the community better by connecting likeminded community leaders faster. Community collaboration and informed leaders will help us make our community stronger.

Park/Walk/Ride
There are 35 free spaces at The Portico and there are plenty of metered spaces all around the building. In the spirit of urbanism we encourage you to walk or ride using resources from the Tampa Downtown Partnership, Walk Bike Tampa, HART and the city’s shared Micromobility devices.
Scholarships
Café con Tampa® is an inclusive organization and we want everyone to feel welcomed. If you can't afford the $12 fee for breakfast, please email us at bcarlson@tuckerhall.com with the subject line "scholarship" to request free entry. College students and members of the Young Republicans and Young Democrats are always allowed in free.
